Supervisor: Security Administration

Summary Supervises, leads and assists security operations designed to protect utility sites, operations, personnel and/or national security information, sensitive information, company proprietary information and special access programs. Essential Job Functions Supervises and leads security operations to protect personnel and/or sensitive information in accordance with industry and/or government standards. Confirms presence and activities of scheduled security staff on assigned sites. Identifies and notifies replacement personnel to assume vacant guard assignments. Performs the duties of security officers when necessary. Provides direction to site officers and contract employees as needed to accomplish goals. Assists in training operations for security personnel. Recommends and/or initiates the selection and hiring of employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Makes recommendations for salary increases, transfers and terminations to manager. Provides supplies and materials, and implements temporary repairs to compromised fence, gate, and lock systems. Basic Qualifications LDAP Experience Preferred Recertification Experience Preferred RACF Experience Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Six or more years of securityexperience Two or more years of leadership experience Experience working with institutional safety and security practices pertaining to industry and/or national security information. Experience working with emergency incident response practices Experience working with industry and/or government security policies, related laws, rules, regulations and report writing Possess valid driver's license Pass background check and may require a government security clearance Other Qualifications Good human relations skills to select, develop, mentor, discipline and reward employees Good communication skills Ability to operate motor vehicles Ability to stand and/or be active for long periods of time Ability to lead and motivate others in improved work practices Ability to utilize appropriate computer applications for position Ability to utilize radio equipment Work Environment Office, warehouse or outside environment Required to carry pager Extensive walking required 51139718

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
