Senior Business Analyst - Insurance

Job Description:
Summary
Provides expertise and consultation in the overall business analysis process from identification through post-implementation.
Essential Job Functions
+ Structures sourcing propositions across processes, applications and infrastructure in conjunction with business strategy.
+ Provides analysis and documentation of client requirements to provide appropriate data to project development and implementation team for client(s).
+ Creates client-specific process flow charts and templates, manuals, handbooks and other outsourcing documentation.
+ Uses metrics to assess outsourcing effectiveness. Summarizes results and prepares reports for management.
+ Identifies additional product/services opportunities in client organization and refers to business development team and/or more experienced personnel.
+ Maintains currency with industry trends and forecasts. Recommends modifications and/or new processes to maintain competitiveness in the industry.
+ Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ P&C Insurance Experience Preferred
+ Duck Creek Experience Preferred
+ Testing Experience Preferred
+ Experience working with business processes
+ Experience working with information technology applications and infrastructure
Other Qualifications
+ Good organization and time management skills
+ Good communication, presentation and facilitation skills
+ Good analytical and problem solving skills
+ Ability to conceptualize, design, develop and apply business and management consulting applications and services
+ Ability to strategically assess clients' business and identify improvement opportunities
+ Ability to define specific solutions within an abstract environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
