TITLEEngineering Administrator COMPANY Koyo Corporation - Richland DEPARTMENT Engineering LOCATION Blythewood, SC CLASSIFICATION Hourly REPORTS TO Engineering Manager GRADE 6 Summary/Purpose Assist in the coordination of daily activities for the Engineering department.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
Run Procurement daily to ensure parts are restocked back to their max inventories Coordinate with vendors to correct procurement issues when POs need revisions Assist the Planning Engineer and or Engineering manager in requisition submission and database administration.
Maintain Bill of Material and add new machine purchase part lists as they arrive.
Coordinate Interns to Scan and Transcribe Purchase Parts lists for the Bill of Material or do it on own if Interns not available Work within a team environment to achieve the goals of the Engineering department.
Provide Oracle training for all new associates required to enter/complete Oracle work requisitions & maintain training records.
Provide yearly refresher Oracle training for all current associates required to enter/complete Oracle requisitions & maintain training records.
Complete & maintain OSMI disposal forms & schedule the removal of OSMI items after review (as determined by Planning Engineer).
Enter & maintain all Process Material Boxes for each grinding and assembly line Assist Planning Engineer and Engineering Manager to identify items with improper min maxes and critical items that could lead to downtime if not in stock.
Complete part registrations as needed per the Planning Engineer and Engineering Managers discretion Submit and receive Engineering related Requisitions and deliver to Manufacturing Engineers as directed by Planning Engineer.
Assist with Engineering activities as required:
Obeya, Jishuken, BOM Maintenance, OSMI, Bi Annual Inventory Supervisory
Responsibilities:

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient with Office 365 (Updated version of Excel) Knowledge of Excel Equations and Pivot Tables Proficient with the Oracle System Proficient with the TPM program The ability to efficiently communicate with Vendors Education and
Experience:
2 Year Associate Degree, preferably in a Business-related field Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Work Requires the occasional packaging of rework items that may weight up to 45 pounds.
